Our History
Tula’s Founder, Luis Saga, started his career in the pharmaceutical industry. Leaving his native Mexico, he spent his first 25 years in Seattle pharmaceutical labs as a chemist and lead manager, wearing the traditional white coat, carrying pens in his pocket, and working with calculators to formulate medicines and cures that we now consider life-saving.
While still a chemist, his interest in real estate investment naturally expanded into a full-time passion. In 2014, he pivoted into the field full-time, refocusing his problem-solving approach and redirecting it to the Seattle housing industry. Tula Special Projects was born out of the desire to see new life breathed into old buildings and spaces past their prime. In addition, Luis saw the opportunity to fill the need in Seattle to tackle special projects- projects either too small or complicated for larger general contractors.
Luis continues to apply his problem-solving skills and vision to guiding Tula. As a team, we look forward to helping you create spaces that meet your needs, breathe new life into old or neglected buildings, and help you make new memories with those you love.
